This are some tips that should help to get the most out of your roses; 1) Cut the stems 3-5cm and put in fresh water. 2) Make sure there are no leaves in the water. 3) Use Chrysal flower food. 4) Leave the cardboard around the flowers and take off the next day. (they support the heads) 5) But don't go over the top and leave the cardboard on for days, they need to be able to breath. 5) Don't put too many flowers in a bucket, again, they need to breath. 6) Check the water level of the buckets, they are very thirsty so don't let them go dry. 7) Avoid temperature changes, avoid moving them.
